Success, Achievement, Guts, Glamour are a few epithets of Ridhima Pai. She has tried and shaped the image of a new Indian woman and spawned a generation of would-bes and wanna-bes. She is without artifice ...Casually radiant... Totally engaging. She is a phenomenon.

Born and raised in Mumbai. Ridhima started her career as an interior designer and with an MBA Degree from Belgium. She subsequently excelled at modeling with her recent runway with the glorious Mr. Bacchan and Aniz Bazmee at the launch of Aankhen 2 to her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival as an actor which she considers her biggest achievement as an actor.

Ridhima started her modeling venture after being The Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2011 finalists. Since then she never looked back.Ridhima has walked many runways with the Bigies of B-TOWN. She stunned the audience and her contemporaries with her runway presence at International Ethnic Week, Asif Shah Couture Collection 2014, Miss India Lavasa Fashion Show, Revion Show with Soha Ali Khan, Blender's Pride Indore Fashion Week, The Fabric Launch of Siyarams, The red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2016, etc. Precisely she has worked with all the leading designers of the country. She has featured in many Advertisements like Fair and Lovely, Vivel Soaps, Big Bazar, Kimaya, Virtues and all leading brands. Working with complete versatility and with diverse experience in her art. On off days Ridhima can be found in Educational Institutions motivating young minds craving for more. Education and academics fascinates her. She has been a Chief Guest at Jaro Buissness Education Award Function, Ryan Group of Institutions. She has judged various Fashion Shows and Film Festivals. She is someone who believes in performance with purpose with her social work, she groomed and mentored the special kids who were partially blind, mute, down syndrome for Beauty Peagents.

However, ther is a lot more to Ridhima than we see her in advertisements, movies and calender covers. A warmth.. naturalness.. great humour and intelligence. When I asked her about What Success has been for her ? She immediately replied. " For me Success is just not about fame, money, luxury. For me it's Hardwork, determination, For me it's personal happiness and emotional satisfaction in what I do which comes with living a purposeful life. " Adding further, " Succes is next to you, wherein one needs to be patient. Because I strongly believe patience is the key to success. " I was enlightened by her words of wisdom. I was curious to know more. I asked Ridhima about her experience at the Cannes Film Festival and she beamed took a deep breath and replied " It was the best experience of my life. It in itself is an honour to walk the red carpet with the Bigies of B-TOWN and Hollywood and to know more about the film making. " She further added " It is a market of Producers and Distributors. There are best of the Production Houses of the World. The movies were screened in every possible language which gives us a versatile idea of being a filmmaker and as an actor to get to learn a lot and as a an entrepreneur you get to know the Buissness and ofcourse Cannes is a place where luxury meets to a next level and the glamour. "

By listening to her I feel she belongs to the cameras and to me it seems that's wear she glows the brightest. She is here to stay. Hence I asked her about What is she looking forward to in her career ? She replied " A good project, a good script which gives me a challenging role wherein I can put in my best. It has just begun with me and many more to come... " So here is a woman who lives completely on her own terms. We are all victims of gender, society, people's opinions. They tie us down, they supress us, but they don't supress Ridhima. She is immensely wise and astute, hugely talented, gentle yet tough. She retains the grace of a woman and magic of a star.

I am acquainted to Ridhima from last three years I affectionately call her Ridhima Ma'am. I consider myself fortunate to have been connected with her. As we met at an event this time I could see her evolved with better choices, new experiences and full of energy as she is always. As I bid adieu to her after a long conversation with her. In person, I saw a lot of strength and confidence. She has an exceptional clarity of mind and a clear world view. I wished her the best for her upcoming presence at Cannes Film Festival 2017. She is someone who is unspoilt by her success and most importantly generous in her appreciation for others. She certainly retains the grace of a woman and magic of a star.
